Division I – Water Distribution System Improvements

This contract will consist of the construction of water main replacements and relocations as shown on the plans. Generally, the work includes the installation of approximately 2,300’ of 12” HDPE water main by horizontal directional drilling, 600’ of 12” D.I. water main, and 320’ of 6” water main installed by open cutting, together with all required service taps, service piping, transfer of customer services to new water mains, capping and sealing abandoned water mains, one railroad crossing by bore and jack method, and all associated valves, fittings, hydrants, testing, disinfection, and restoration work.

Water Works Improvements Project

Division II – Rehabilitation and Repainting of 1,000,000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank

The work to be performed under this contract division consists of performing metal repairs, completing improvements and modifications to various tank components, pressure washing, abrasive blast cleaning, and repainting the City’s (West) 1,000,000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank.

The project consists of: Improvements as described in Contract Documents for NORTH FULDA SHORTCUT FROM E. 1740 N. TO SR 545, N. 800 E. FROM SR 70 TO SR 66, W. 425 N. FROM 450 W. 2024-1 CCMG Street and Stormwater Improvements

Bids for the construction of its 2024-1 CCMG Street and Stormwater Improvements Project, the work of which includes but is not limited to the following improvements: milling and resurfacing of various streets throughout the City including the replacement of curb ramps, culverts, and various other appurtenances associated with the project.

Park Improvements Church Street Park

The work of which includes but is not limited to the following improvements; grading and drainage of the lot, installation of new storm sewer and appurtenances, installation of new sidewalk and curb ramps, installation of new curb, installation of water and sewer service to the site, and installation of a chain link fence, various other appurtenances associated with the project, installation of both foundation and a new pavilion. The new pavilion will be acquired by the City of Loogootee prior to the start of construction.

Wastewater Improvements Project- Lift Station #19 Rehabilitation & Sanitary Sewer Lining

The Project will be constructed in one (1) contract which is defined and outlined as follows:

The contract will consist of Sanitary Sewer Lining, Manhole Rehabilitation and Lift Station Improvements. Lift station improvements to include but not be limited to pumps, controls, and valving.

The project consists of:

A new restroom facility to be located at the Dale Town Park adjacent to the existing splashpad. The restroom consists of two-unisex restrooms and two-family restrooms and a small storage/mechanical room. The project also includes concrete sidewalk and utility work associated with the building.

Water Distribution System Improvements Low Zone Service Area Reinforcement – Northern Gateway Project

The project consists of:  

• Installation of approximately 8,500 L.F. of 16” D.I. Class 250 Water Main and Appurtenances by Open-Cut Placement.
• Installation of approximately 120 L.F. of 16” R.J. D.I. Class 250 Water Main and Appurtenances by Uncased Bore.
• Installation of approximately 140 L.F. of 8” D.I. Class 350 Water Main and Appurtenances by Open-Cut Placement.
• Installation of approximately 190 L.F. of 6” D.I. Class 350 Water Main and Appurtenances by Open-Cut Placement.
• Installation of approximately 210 L.F. of 30”x 0.500” Welded Steel Casing by Auger Boring or Pipe Jacking with 16” D.I. Carrier Pipe and Appurtenances.
• Dry Tap Connections to Existing 12”, 10”, and 8” Water Mains
• Installation of 18’-0” x 8’-0” I.D. Pre-Cast or Cast-in-Place Concrete Meter Pit and Appurtenances.
