Sealed bids are invited and may be delivered or forwarded by certified mail, to the City of Loogootee, 401 John F. Kennedy Ave., Loogootee, IN 47553 until 6:00 P.M. Eastern (Local Time) on September 14^th, 2026. If bids are forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the Owner at P.O. Box 276, 401 John F. Kennedy Ave., Loogootee, IN 47553. The sealed bids must be received by the Owner no later than 6:00 P.M. Eastern (Local Time) on September 14^th, 2026. Bids received after such hour will be returned unopened. Bids received prior to this time shall be opened and publicly read at the Board of Works meeting, scheduled to take place on September 14^th, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. Eastern (Local Time) at the City of Loogootee City Hall, 401 John F. Kennedy Ave., Loogootee, IN 47553. All interested citizens are invited to attend, and should any citizens require special provisions, such as handicapped modifications or non-English translation personnel, the City of Loogootee will provide such provisions as long as the request is made prior to September 4^th, 2026.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. Eastern (Local Time) on August 27^th, 2026, at the Loogootee City Hall at 401 John F. Kennedy Ave., Loogootee, IN 47553. Anyone considering bidding on this project is encouraged to attend (but not mandatory). Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project.
