Improvements to the Wastewater Treatment Plant digester include:
Rehabilitation of the existing anaerobic digesters including replacement of the digester covers and associated gas safety equipment, piping, and external site flare; cleaning the digesters and adjacent sludge holding tank to remove excess sludge of grit; rehabilitation and repair of the internal digester concrete walls; replacement of the digester external mixers; replacement of selected sludge piping and valves; upgrades to the mixer electrical system, controls, safety equipment, and air handling system; and improvements to the internal building, including painting of walls, floors, and piping.
