Sealed bids must be received by the Town of Akron at the Akron Town Hall,  located at 206 W. Rochester Street, Akron, IN 46910, no later than 5:00 P.M. EDT (Local Time) on Monday, November 16, 2026. Bids received after such hour will be returned unopened.  Bids received prior to this time shall be opened and publicly read at the Akron Town Council public meeting scheduled to take place on Monday, November 16, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. EDT (Local Time)  at the Akron Town Hall.  All interested citizens are invited to attend and should any citizens require special provisions, such as handicapped modifications or non-English translation personnel, the Town will provide such provisions as long as the request is made to the Akron Clerk-Treasurer, Rebecca Hartzler, by November 16, 2026.  Contact information for the Clerk is 574-893-4123 or clerktreasurer@akronindiana.com.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 P.M. EDT (Local Time) on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the Akron Town Hall, 206 W. Rochester Street, Akron, IN 46910.  All prime contractors; subcontractors; small, minority or women owned enterprises; and other interested parties are encouraged and invited to attend.
