Wastewater System Improvements Division I – Sanitary Sewer Main Lining

The Division I portion of the project consists of:  

• Televising, Cleaning, and Inspection of Approximately 10,460 L.F. of 8, 10, 12, and 15-inch Gravity Sewer Main
• Rehabilitation of Approximately 10,460 L.F. of 8, 10, 12, and 15-inch Gravity Sewer Main with CIPP
• Installation of End Seals, Reinstatement of Laterals, and other works associated with CIPP Main Restoration

Wastewater System Improvements Division II – Sanitary Sewer Manhole Lining

The Division II portion of the project consists of: 

• Rehabilitation of Approximately 92 (570 V.L.F) 48-inch Diameter Manholes with Polyurea Lining
• Rehabilitation of an Approximate 1000 Gallon (234 S.F.) Flow Equalization Tank with Polyurea Lining

Water System Improvements Division I – Distribution System Replacements and Reinforcements

The Division I portion of the project consists of:

• Installation of approximately 32 miles of 3” thru 8” Water Main and Appurtenances. The installation of these mains are broken down into Four (4) Priority Areas. Priority Area 1 contains approximately 10.6 miles of main; Priority Area 2 contains approximately 10.90 miles of main; Priority Area 3 contains approximately 4.2 miles of main; and Priority Area 4 contains approximately 6.4 miles of main. It is the Owners intent to award all priority improvement areas; however, if the costs and budget do not allow all areas to be awarded, only priority areas that can be completed within the project budget will be awarded.

Water System Improvements Division II – Water Treatment Plant Improvements

The Division II portion of the project consists of:

• Site piping modifications and improvements.
• Removal/Replacement of existing Aeralator Treatment Unit No. 1.
• Removal/Replacement of existing high service pumps and piping for Aeralator Treatment Unit No. 1.
• Renovation of existing Aeralator Treatment Unit No. 2.
• Renovation of existing high service pumps and piping for Aeralator Treatment Unit No. 2.
• Backwash holding tank improvements.
• New Bathroom addition.
• Chemical Feed System Improvements.
• Electrical and HVAC Improvements.
• Instrumentation and Control Improvements.

Water System Improvements Division III – Removal of Existing 50,000 Gallon Elevated Tank and Replacement with New 200,000 Gallon Elevated Tank

The Division III portion of the project consists of:

• Construction of a new 200,000 gallon elevated water storage tank and appurtenances as shown on plans. The height to overflow is 121 feet above finished grade with an overflow elevation of 594 feet.
• Site piping and appurtenances to connect new tank to existing water mains.
• Site access drive and fencing improvements.
• Demolition of an existing 50,000 gallon elevated water storage tank and appurtenances as shown on plans.

The project will consists of:

The addition of a new two-lane Asphalt Drive, New Concrete Pads for Bulk Waste Container, Scrap Metal Container, and a New Trash Compactor.

Water Works Improvements Project

Division I – Water Distribution System Improvements

This contract will consist of the construction of water main replacements and relocations as shown on the plans. Generally, the work includes the installation of approximately 2,300’ of 12” HDPE water main by horizontal directional drilling, 600’ of 12” D.I. water main, and 320’ of 6” water main installed by open cutting, together with all required service taps, service piping, transfer of customer services to new water mains, capping and sealing abandoned water mains, one railroad crossing by bore and jack method, and all associated valves, fittings, hydrants, testing, disinfection, and restoration work.

Water Works Improvements Project

Division II – Rehabilitation and Repainting of 1,000,000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank

The work to be performed under this contract division consists of performing metal repairs, completing improvements and modifications to various tank components, pressure washing, abrasive blast cleaning, and repainting the City’s (West) 1,000,000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank.
